Kids Discovery Museum

Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu) is a nonprofit children’s museum and hands-on play environment where curiosity is celebrated and childhood is honored. For over 20 years, KiDiMu has served families across Kitsap County, grounded in the belief that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful connection.

Through interactive exhibits, art activities, camps, workshops, and a full-day licensed inquiry-based preschool, KiDiMu nurtures the whole child—supporting cognitive, social, and emotional development. Our spaces are designed for active learning, including our sensory area with the Discovery Loop, where children engage their senses through play.KiDiMu also offers drop-off programs like Parents’ Night Out and Night at the Mini Museum, supporting families with flexible, enriching care.

Committed to inclusion, KiDiMu centers neurodivergent initiatives and community partnerships. As we grow, we are becoming a STEAM and neurodivergent hub, with a major expansion planned for 2026-2028.
