Kids in Concert

Kids in Concert was founded on the idea that every child should be able to access the benefits of music education, with no barriers. Our mission is to cultivate compassion and developmental well-being of youth through the healing power of music. KIC does not charge tuition or require an audition to join. We provide an instrument, music instruction, a healthy after-school snack, and social-emotional support, all at no cost to our families. The students can choose violin, viola, cello, bass, or percussion and they all sing in the KIC Choir. In addition, we offer a two-week musical theater summer camp that is written, designed, choreographed, and directed by our teenage mentors.
