Loren Bast is currently the Executive Director of Bainbridge Prepares. Bainbridge Prepares is an educational and service non-profit whose goal is to make the Bainbridge Island community and its Kitsap neighbors more resilient and prepared for disasters, big or small. Loren, his wife Amanda, and their two children moved to Bainbridge Island from Seattle in the summer of 2017, and since then they have become involved in many other school and island non-profit opportunities.Prior to working with Bainbridge Prepares, Loren led the Business Intelligence team at the Seattle Times. Prior to the Seattle Times, Loren held a variety of business and technical roles at tech and media companies in Seattle, the Bay Area, and Austin, Texas.
