Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library

Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library (BIFOL) supports Bainbridge Public Library in multiple ways.

Books, CD’s and DVD’s are sold at sales which are held two or three times a month and online. The books sold by Friends of the Library are donated by generous Bainbridge Islanders.

BIFOL provides support for programs such as the very popular summer learning program, and provides items requested by librarians for other programming.

BIFOL also supports maintenance of the saltwater aquarium in the children’s area among many other things.

In 2025 Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library focused on increasing the Bainbridge Public Library Endowment Fund which will ensure funds for ongoing library program and facilities needs.

BIFOL also contributed to the solar panel project.
