Bainbridge Island Sportsmen’s Club

The Sportsmen’s Club is open to men, women, and families. BISC provides three ranges for members and the public: archery, shotgun, pistol-caliber. Operated and maintained by volunteers, these outdoor venues promote recreational shooting sports and gun safety, and educate the community in the safe, proper use of firearms and archery equipment for recreation, competition, hunting. BISC provides a venue for youth archery programs. In April, BISC hosts a free Kids Fishing Derby. At Thanksgiving, BISC traditionally supports a holiday meal for those in need. For lessons, coaching, or practice for archery, shooting and fly-casting, contact the club. A non-profit Island tradition for over 95 years, BISC annually hosts WDFW Hunter’s Education courses. Scouts and other groups use the clubhouse for meetings. Each June, BISC awards a $2,500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior.
