Kitsap Mental Health Services

Since 1978, Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) has provided a broad continuum of mental health and substance use treatment for children, families and adults, ranging from crisis, inpatient, outpatient treatment and residential services. In 2020, we served over 7,000 people across Kitsap County, through offices in Bremerton, South Kitsap and North Kitsap, with staff providing services at home and in the community. We are committed to meeting emerging community needs, opening the Kitsap County Crisis Triage Center for adults in crisis who need 24/7 care but do not meet the level of care for hospitalization, and the Pacific Hope and Recovery Center for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use seeking residential in 2018. We are thrilled this year to be constructing Pendleton Place, a 72 unit permanent supported housing complex for adults experiencing chronic homelessness and living with mental illness and/or substance use disorders, to open spring 2022.
