Bainbridge Island Sportsmen’s Club

The Club is open to sports men, women, and families. BISC provides three ranges to members and the public: archery, shotgun, pistol-caliber. Operated and maintained by volunteers, BISC operates these outdoor venues to promote recreational shooting sports, gun safety and to educate the community in the safe, proper use of firearms and archery equipment for recreation, competition, hunting. BISC has a special emphasis on youth archery programs. In April, BISC hosts a free Kids Fishing Derby. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, BISC hosts holiday meals for those in need. Those wanting lessons, coaching, or practice for archery, shooting and fly-casting can contact the club. An Island tradition for over 90 years, BISC hosts 10-12 WDFW Hunter’s Education courses on site each year. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other groups needing a meeting space are welcome to use the BISC clubhouse. Each spring, BISC awards graduating BHS senior a scholarship.
