Assistance Dogs Northwest
The mission of Assistance Dogs Northwest (ADNW) is to provide professionally trained dogs that increase independence and enhance quality of life for children and adults with disabilities and other special needs. Our vision is to continue training and placing more Assistance Dogs in the Pacific Northwest that will help both the dogs and their partners realize their full potential. ADNW, with headquarters located on Bainbridge Island, improves the lives of over 10,000 people annually through the delivery of Assistance Dog Programs and Community Outreach Programs, including our Therapy Dog Program, Veterans Program, Workplace Readiness Program, and Education Program. Assistance Dogs and lifetime follow-up support are provided free of charge to ensure equitable access to our programs and services for those with the greatest needs.
