BARN — Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network

BARN is a nonprofit makerspace and hub of the creative community where beginners work alongside experienced artisans. 11 volunteer-run studios offer professional equipment, classes, open studios, and peer learning in Culinary Arts, Drawing & Painting, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Media, Metal, Printmaking & Book Arts, Tech, Woodworking & Small Boatbuilding, and Writing. BARN is committed to helping build a world where people recognize and value their creativity and capacity to contribute to their communities. Most classes, studios, and free events are open to members and guests; reduced fees are available for military and tribal members, students, teachers, and seniors. Financial assistance is available. Community service is a core value, and volunteers assist local organizations with dozens of projects each year.
