Since 1937, we’ve been making investments that build partnerships, leverage resources, and strengthen communities; focusing on long-term solutions. When we brought 2-1-1 into our office, little did we know how critical that decision would be. Not only were we able to help people connect to possible resources, we were able to provide jobs for those who were laid off. In 2020, as part of the WA211 network, we saw a 70% increase in callers statewide. We continue to partner with the Washington State Department of Health (DoH) in helping people overcome obstacles to scheduling and receiving their COVID-19 vaccination. The most requested needs in last 365 days were: COVID-19, housing/shelter, other, government/legal, food, & utilities. 211 of the Peninsulas’, a United Way of Kitsap County program, supports Kitsap, Clallam, Jefferson, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties. Your support ensures that all calls for help will be answered.
