Gear Grinders: Bainbridge Island Mountain Biking Club

The Bainbridge Island Mountain Biking Club (BIMBC) empowers youth through its support of our local teams: the Gear Grinders (coed, 5th–12th grade), Geared for Girls (1st–4th grade), and Galbraith Gravity Racing (coed, middle and high school). We raise essential funds for student rider training, coaching, equipment, league fees, and scholarships to ensure the sport remains accessible to all.

Beyond competitive racing, BIMBC champions local infrastructure—including Jay’s Pump Track at Battle Point and Strawberry Hill Bike Park—while our dedicated volunteers support the effort to build and maintain the Bainbridge Island trail system and other regional trails.
