Bainbridge Island Special Needs Foundation/Stephen’s House
Bainbridge Island Special Needs Foundation/Stephens House was established in 2002 to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Kitsap County. We believe that adults with disabilities thrive when they participate in meaningful community-based recreational and social activities.
Our mission is to prevent isolation and enrich the lives of our members by providing a joyful, supportive environment where they can build self-confidence and a true sense of belonging. Our program offers structured daily activities including swimming, CrossFit, yoga, art projects, and music, alongside practical life skills like grocery shopping and cooking. By fostering continuous learning and social connection, we help our members develop lifelong friendships and improve their physical and mental well-being. As a DSHS-approved Respite Agency, we also provide critical support and peace of mind for families and caregivers.
Your support directly enables us to keep these life-enhancing opportunities accessible to all.
