Bainbridge Island Pickleball Community

Bainbridge Island is home to the Founders Courts and is a legacy of pickleball’s origins, now the fastest-growing sport in America. The Bainbridge Island Pickleball Community (BIP) promotes a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for pickleball while creating opportunities for friendly competitive play.

BIP is volunteer-based with a governing BOD. We facilitate organized and open play for the Founders Courts at Battle Point Park, purchase equipment, including court dryers, and host a youth tournament at little to no cost to the participants. BIP also provides free demo paddles. We work with BI Parks to build and maintain high-quality, publicly available courts.

BIP volunteers raised the majority of funds for the 12 Founders Courts at Battle Point Park. We continue to work toward covered courts for year-round play and explore additional opportunities for youth participation. Your donation helps grow our community events and youth programming options.
