Kitsap Humane Society

Kitsap Humane Society transforms the lives of thousands of homeless animals yearly – such as the 6,391 animals we rehomed in 2016. Our emphasis on individualized care, enrichment and treatment (including specialized medical or behavioral rehabilitation or foster care placement) gives each animal the best chance to thrive, and helps KHS achieve a ‘save rate’ of 96%. We perform over 5,000 spay/neuter surgeries annually, including nearly 2,000 fee-reduced procedures for low-income pet owners. KHS appreciates the more than 1,000 Bainbridge Islanders who help make this possible by adopting pets, utilizing our Animal Control services, serving on our Board, volunteering, or donating.
