The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) is an educational institution whose mission is to engage a diverse population with the art and craft of our region and our time. BIMA offers free admission, thanks to our donors, sponsors and members and is open 363 days per year. Cultural programs at BIMA include art exhibits which rotate three times per year, artist lectures, K-12 field trips, hands-on art workshops,curator-led tours, after school and school vacation programs and film series. Community groups use BIMA’s facility to hold meetings or host their programs. Since its opening in June 2013, BIMA has had over 220,000 visitors from all over the region and the world.
